I watched Lucy almost everyday growing up as a kid. She was beautiful and brave. She also dealt with many of the same issues women today face concerning women’s rights in the work place.
Her marriage to Dezi Arnez, on the surface looked like sugar and spice and everything nice but it wasn’t that way in real life.
I read stories of of their marriage being troubled which caused Lucy much pain and suffering. Lucy to me was a wounded warrior of sorts. She was on the front line, she looked good doing her job and made it look easy even though she struggled with personal issues and pain that she never allowed to stop her from rising to the top.
I Love Lucy and I always will. Bravo for being the Trail Blazer for the rest of us who strive to get out work out there no matter how the deck is stacked against us.
