In most rock bands everyone follows the drummer….but on the Stones stage Keith Richards calls the shots, he is the band leader and he’s who the band follows, not Charlie Watts.
Rolling Stone magazine called Richards the creator of “rock’s greatest single body of riffs” on guitar and ranked him fourth on their 2011 list of 100 best guitarists.
