In honor of Princess Diana, who would have turned 60yrs old in 2021, we are taking a look at her Birthday Cards along with those cards of her daughters-in-law, Kate and Meghan.

Princess Diana’s story is not the beautiful fairytale that the people of Great Britain and her many fans around the world thought she deserved. Her wedding to Prince Charles was televised globally, it was watched by 750 million people worldwide.

The sad reality of Diana’s marriage to Charles became obvious.

Diana was hardly more than a child,19, when she was introduced to Prince Charles who was 12 years her senior.  In addition to their age difference, Charles was in love with his “friend” Camilla Parker Bowles.

Diana was extremely unhappy married to Charles, yearning for true love as most young women do…imagine marrying your Prince Charming, only to discover his love for another woman.

There was always gossip…but apparently it was true…evidenced by his marriage to Camilla in 2005.

Diana and Charles separated in 1992…William and Harry were 10 & 8 years old.   Queen Elizabeth urged Charles & Diana to finalize their separation and after they negotiated custody of their sons, their divorce was final August 28,1996… William 14, Harry 12 years old.
