8-2 Today’s Birth card is the Jack of Diamonds, the Sales Persuasion Card.

All Jacks are youthful, creative, witty and charming.

All Jack’s can mature if they want, and take on the personality of the King of their suit. However most are content being the young creative person; no desire to be the leaders of the pack. They never desire the responsibility and power of the King, happy being the King’s right hand man, trusted by their King…but can they really be trusted?

The Jack of Diamonds are sharp and clever in addition to being witty and charming. They have wonderful instincts and inherited expertise in financial areas. They are blessed with the power of persuasion, making them successful in business, especially when they have the freedom to be self employed. In addition, today’s Jack of Diamonds have the added Leo energy to their personalities.

However the Jack of Diamonds can easily go off the track if they don’t put their great creative minds to good use. They can be very immature and sneaky, believing their own stories and breaking promises to those who believe in them. Beware of the Jack of Diamonds who live on the low side of this card, they might not be who you think they are.

That being said, most Jack of Diamonds are good; doing their best if they find a career that enables them to use their creativity while giving them freedom.

There aren’t very many famous people born today…I have to wonder why…to much Leo energy added to the Jack of Diamonds?

One of my favorite people born today is #MaryLouiseParker, known for her part in Weeds, in addition to all her other stage, film and TV accomplishments. She also wrote a bestselling book, Dear Mr. You, a memoir written in letters to different men in her life. We at Dear WiseWomen plan to add this book to our summer reading.

#CarrolOConnor is the most famous person that I could find who was born today. What surprised me is that despite playing the lovable bigot Archie Bunker in All in The Family, he was a well educated; having his Master’s degree in Speech. He was also a liberal, despite playing the part of Archie. I guess he was a great actor, since I was truly surprised how liberal and educated he was.
