7-27 Today’s Birth card is the Ace of Clubs, the card of Desire and Knowledge.

Aces, the young souls of each suit, are intelligent, charming, independent and very creative. Ace of Clubs people have both a thirst for knowledge and a strong desire to create new things. They have so many ideas it seems like they are receiving information from a higher force.

Ace of Clubs look to books, education, and communication to satisfy their search for new ideas. As all Leo’s, the Ace of Clubs is supercharged and all the characteristics of the Ace of Clubs are enhanced.

Ace of Clubs are very idealistic when it comes to love; they are always on the search for the perfect partner as you might expect with the Two of Hearts Karmic Twin. However they are so picky that finding the right person might be a challenge for them, which is why the Ace of Clubs is often a lonely person. Yet they will still have that glow in their face indicating that they are open for a new relationship. If they think they have found ‘their’ person, they will dive right into the relationship. They never get disillusioned about love; they just keep looking.

With the right person, they are devoted partners and make great spouses. It’s said that the Ace of Clubs is either in love or not…not much in-between for them.

Some of the famous people born today are #AlexRodriguez #MayaRudolph of SNL fame, #NormanLear, and #JerryVanDyke.

I’m not sure that everyone knows #JerryVanDyke ; he’s was Dick Van Dyke’s younger brother who was not as popular or famous. Reading his bio, it made me wonder if his choice in comedic projects kept him from larger fame. I’m thinking that a sit-com is like a relationship, and clearly he made some poor choices. He turned down the offer to play Gilligan in ’Gilligan’s Island’; the part went to Bob Denver. He also rejected playing the deputy Barney Fife on ‘The Andy Griffith Show’; the part went to Don Knotts. His choice was attorney David Crabtree in “My Mother the Car”, for those who don’t remember that show, his deceased mother was reincarnated as a restored antique car. He spent many years having to live down starring in a highly criticized sit-com. He hit is stride later in life when he starred in “Coach” amongst some other popular shows. He passed away in 2018…I wonder how different his life would have been had he been Gilligan or Deputy Barney Fife. Would he have been happier with more fame? He looks like a very content and happy Ace of Clubs in all the pictures…

Fun Fact….Norman Lear, was a prolific writer ahead of his times. Many of his controversial sitcoms are still relevant today and would be just as controversial if they were on TV in 2021 as they were in the 70’s and 80’s…most notably ‘All in the Family
Other shows include Good times, Sanford and Son, The Facts of life, One Day at a Time, Maude, and The Jeffersons.

Happy Birthday to all born today. Spend your day wisely; it sets the tone for your year.
